Dr. Satoskar has expertise in the areas of general hepatology and liver transplantation. His research interests include the investigation of new modalities used in diagnosis and treatment of portal hypertension and other complications of cirrhosis. He is also interested in quality of delivered care as it pertains to chronic liver disease. Other interests include attitudes toward liver transplantation in special populations and dilemmas surrounding the selection of appropriate candidates.
